Subject to a bit of good ol’ badge engineering, throughout its time, the Mini was known as an Austin, a Morris and a Rover.
Austin 7
Where it all began.
The Austin 7 was the car that got Britain motoring. It was cheap and easy to maintain. Without it we might still be riding around in a horse and carriage!
